Hands Off! Public Rally in Ketchum

The Wood River Valley community is invited to take a stand at the “Hands Off” Rally on Saturday, April 5, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Ketchum Town Square. This rally is part of a nationwide movement calling for an end to corruption, corporate greed, and attacks on essential public services. It is being hosted by the Blaine County Democrats and the Idaho Women’s Caucus.

America is at a crossroads. Since taking office, Donald Trump has pushed an aggressive power grab that has led to skyrocketing costs, cuts to vital programs, and growing instability across the country. With billionaires and complicit lawmakers backing his agenda, working Americans are paying the price while the wealthy continue to prosper.

This mass mobilization day is our message to the world that we do not consent to the destruction of our government and our economy for the benefit of Trump and his billionaire allies. Alongside Americans across the country, we are marching, rallying, and protesting to demand a stop the chaos and build an opposition movement against the looting of our country.

A core principle behind all Hands Off! events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
